We headed down to IKEA to shop for a desk for Chloe today, we manage to get her a pink color desk (the one in the picture beside Chloe) to work her materials on. Our day ended early at IKEA & we decided to bring Chloe for a hair cut...

Quit school

After several weeks of school, we finally decided to temporary give Chloe a break from school as we find Chloe adaptation to school is much like a roller coaster ride, on some days she would enjoy herself but on most days her seperation anxiety can be quite overwhelming. We figured it could be a combinaton of both seperation anxiety & that school hours crosses her afternoon nap time, perhaps we'll start her with school sometime later and as for now, back to self-exploratory ...

We celebrated Chloe's 2nd Birthday today! The party was held at a childrens playroom & it was good fun to see the kids having a good time & a casual place for a family & friends get together!

First day at school

Chloe started her Montessori Starters today. On the whole Chloe coped well on her 1st day, proudly saying goodbye to mummy & off she goes playing & mingle (somewhat) around in class. Only as the class comes to its tail-end did she express need to look for "mi-mi" & "da-da".
The class offer a fair bit of Montessori teaching, singing & meal time ...
